Alcohol Compliance

Pre-launch compliance notice. HTF Market is not yet accepting alcohol payments. All alcohol transactions must be completed directly with licensed retailers. This document will be finalized with counsel before any payment functionality is enabled.

Our Compliance Position

HTF Market is a connection platform — not a retailer, importer, distributor, or seller of alcoholic beverages. We do not own, hold, ship, deliver, or take title to any product. All sales of alcoholic beverages occur directly between licensed retailers and consumers, in person, in compliance with the laws of the state in which the licensed retailer operates.

No Alcohol Sold or Shipped via HTF Market

HTF Market does not collect payment for alcohol on behalf of retailers. Customers complete purchases in-store with the licensed retailer using the retailer's own point-of-sale and payment systems. HTF Market does not facilitate shipment or delivery of alcohol.

Age Verification

All HTF Market users are required to confirm they are 21 years of age or older before accessing the Platform. Customers must provide a date of birth before submitting an offer request. Final age verification is performed in-person by the licensed retailer at the point of sale, in accordance with applicable state and local laws.

Retailer Licensing

Only retailers with valid state alcoholic beverage retail licenses are permitted to post listings or respond to offer requests on HTF Market. Retailers represent and warrant their licensing in good standing with their state regulatory authority and agree to comply with all applicable laws governing the sale of alcohol.

Three-Tier System

Where applicable, HTF Market supports the three-tier system of alcohol regulation (producer, distributor, retailer). The Platform does not facilitate transactions between tiers and does not displace any tier in the supply chain.

Direct-to-Consumer Shipping

HTF Market does not facilitate direct-to-consumer shipping of alcoholic beverages. All transactions complete in person at the licensed retailer's premises in their licensed state.

Reporting Concerns

If you believe a listing or user is in violation of alcohol laws, please report it to support@htfmarket.com. We investigate all reports and may suspend or remove offending users or listings.

Jurisdictional Restrictions

HTF Market is intended for use in U.S. states where licensed alcohol retail is legal and where age 21 is the legal drinking age. Some functionality may be unavailable or restricted in jurisdictions with stricter regulations.
